Operation XLR8 Grants for Stem Collaborations BACKGROUND:


We are pleased to announce that Class of 1971 Minot High School alumni Cary Bauer and Dr. Laurie Koenig Bauer have established "Operation XLR8," an endowment for innovative grants supporting STEM collaborations.

This grant is designed to support high school STEM teachers working together to create new and innovative STEM courses for both Minot High School and Minot North High School.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • STEM Teacher for Minot High or Minot North High School

  • Funds to be used to collaborate in creating a new or innovative STEM course(s) for either or both Minot High or Minot North High Schools.

How To Apply for an Operation XLr8 Grant:

Please follow the link below to apply. The grant committee will review grant applications within 60 days that the grant request was received. You will receive updates with the email you provide below.

Class of 1971 Minot High School alumni Cary Bauer and Dr. Laurie Koenig Bauer have established "Operation XLR8," an endowment dedicated to funding innovative grants for STEM collaborations. They created this fund as a gesture of gratitude to Minot Public Schools for providing the educational foundation that set them on their paths to career success.
